Ron 'Brother Bear' Russell, a NEVROCer who generously offered me the use of his condo in North Conway, New Hampshire. Here he is enjoying a filet at a great steakhouse called Merlinos before heading back to his home in southern NH.

Me and Ron's nephew, Rick, happy after a great steak dinner.

This ol' Harley guy is retired and vacations in Key West during the winter. He fell in love with some hot pickled string beans down there, and has made a hobby of perfecting their recipe and selling cases and jars to the locals around here. They were HOT!!!! But I imagine they're great in Bloody Marys. Pretty interesting character.

This trailer had some more *timely* decorations..

They even decorated the restrooms :)

I stopped at a campground to use the facilities. Apparently some folks stay here quite a while...this one is already decked out for Christmas. Or maybe it was left over from last year...

A WW1 Veteran memorial on Evan's Notch. I was surprised to see it in the middle of nowhere.

I've been watching for the Peregrines but haven't seen any yet.

It was foggy up here in Evan's Notch, but beautiful.

I love red... :)

Near Sunday River Rec area
There aren't many covered bridges left, and this one was not driveable, but very pretty.
